Love and Failure

                                                  Love and Failure

There are times when you sit silent, wrapped in yourself. You don’t see anything around you; the happiness, the sorrows and the love floating in the air. You don’t feel or you just don’t want to let your feelings flow in the divine rhythm. You think you are strong that you can endure all this. But you don’t know that you are bleeding within. There is an abscess that is continually becoming worse.
But one day you see an angel coming in your way. You admire her beauty from the horizon. You try to sound arrogant. But you can’t. You even try to change your way. But you are unable to deviate your marching steps that have acquired an intense potential. You just stop near that angel. You are hesitant to take the first step. You expect some miracle to take pace. But you are an immortal being. You realize that angels don’t have any interest in wretched beings. You extended your hand as your last desperate attempt. But it is swung back in a rage that would make it split into zillion pieces.
You pick up your wounded soul, with bleeding heart and come back to the same place that is sanctum for you. You sit back in that past state; brooding over the recent stirrings and remising for it. You ask yourself, “Was that step worth taking? Do I deserve this?”
Then you hear a reply from within, “Even 100 conquests are worth tasting in the quest for your true love, for that beautiful and awesome person; your alter ego.”
